The standard distribution typically involves three Continuous Assessment Tests (CATs) and assignments/seminars. The calculation generally scales your 50-mark CAT exams down to a specific weightage (like 12 marks each), and adds assignment scores (usually 4 marks).
Many students make the mistake of ignoring internal exams and focusing only on the end-semester university exams. This is a critical error.
